Description: Six hundred eighty-two flowers and fifty-five buds on thirty-one 9.0-cm to 14.5-cm arching pendulous inflorescences and two immature inflorescences on born on a 36.0-cm wide by 22.0-cm tall, clean and robust plant grown in a 10.0-cm diameter clay pot using sphagnum moss; leaf 10.5 cm long by 4.8 cm wide, ovate, slightly acuminate, rounded petiolate base held apically on up to 16.3-cm cylindrical growths bearing one or two racemic inflorescences immerging from up to 3.5-cm long by 0.9-cm wide, usually dry, sheaths originating from the apex of the growths; dorsal sepal and fused lateral sepals cream blushed light yellow proximally random burgundy spotting distally, petals cream overlaid burgundy on distal three-fourths, darker apically, margins erose; lip slightly saccate proximally, yellow-cream, overlaid burgundy medially, midlobe dark burgundy; column light green-yellow, sparse random maroon spotting proximally, apically maroon circle around white anther cap; substance medium; texture satiny, petals muricate; country of origin - Ecuador; SITF has determined that 20205905 is Pleurothallis loranthophylla, not P. pedunculata (July 2020); this plant is an exact match to P. loranthophylla; P. pedunculata has a very narrow, elongated lip that is almost as long as the sepals and petals; P. loranthophylla is also a very good match to the photo in the IOSPE and to several photos in the OW.

Description: One flower on one erect 29.3-cm inflorescence; sepals cream, medially blushed green, veined darker green, peripherally blushed maroon, veined darker maroon, margins cream; petals green becoming maroon distally, proximally veined darker green, randomly warted black-maroon centrally, margins hirsute; pouch light green overlaid maroon, veined darker maroon, inner rim spotted maroon; staminode light green, centrally dark green with veins tessellated darker green; substance medium firm; texture glossy.
